Fentanyl Facts

How much does Orange County know about the dangers of fentanyl? We went out and asked people their thoughts. We educated them on how deadly it can be and prepared them to save a life with naloxone.

Fentanyl is ________

We asked people in Orange County what they think about fentanyl, and most agree it’s bad, dangerous, and deadly. How would you describe it?

The Risks are Real

We set up a little game to demonstrate the risks of taking illegal pills. Every 5 out of 10 pills tested by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) contain a deadly amount of fentanyl.

Would you take that chance?

Fake Pills are Deadly

Just 2mg (about 10 grains of sand) of fentanyl can be deadly. We asked people in Orange County if they could measure out a lethal dose of fentanyl with sand, some were shocked to see how small of an amount is lethal.

You Can Stop an Overdose with Naloxone

We took to the streets of Orange County to educate and spread awareness about the lifesaving drug naloxone.

Naloxone, also known by the brand names Narcan and Kloxxado, is a nasal spray that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and save a life.

When in doubt, call 911 and use naloxone.
